A massive price hike for Yamaha’s bikes has been announced

Yamaha has announced a huge increase in its motorcycle prices after Atlas Honda and Pak Suzuki Motor Company announced their price hikes.
Currently, this is the third price hike announced by the company this year and the biggest increase announced by a bike manufacturer in Pakistan. Yamaha bikes are now available at the following prices:
Bikes Current Prices (Rs.) Revised Prices (Rs.) Increase (Rs.)
YB-125Z 210,500 231,500 21,000
YB-125Z DX 226,000 248,500 22,500

Since February 2022, Yamaha has slammed the public with devastating price hikes. It raised its prices by as much as Rs. 10,500 in April, and by as much as Rs. 12,000 in February. The ongoing economic crisis in Pakistan is expected to result in more price hikes, according to motorcycle dealers.
According to government reports, bike production is localized to 94 percent in Pakistan, which means prices shouldn’t increase so frequently and by such a wide margin.
