In the same way that TikTok and YouTube Shorts exist, Reels exists on Instagram. The app lets you view portrait videos up to 60 seconds long and scroll through them according to your preferences.
Due to Reels’ expansion from 60 seconds to 90 seconds, the social network will soon raise the 60-second time limit to 90 seconds. As a result of this increase, Instagram says content creators will be able to express their authentic selves more freely.
With more time, creators can share more of their personal stories, film more behind-the-scenes clips, explore their content types, or use it however they wish.
With the new update, content creators are also able to include their own audio in Reels. Any video in your camera roll that is at least 5 seconds long can be used to add commentary or background noise.
You might use your voice in others’ reels, so make sure you like how it sounds in the recording.
You can also include polls in your video so you can ask your viewers what they want to see in the next video.
Your creativity and innovative use of these new tools will be inspiring to us.
